Description
The synthetic BRAF V600D DNA is a linear plasmid that contains a 773 bp DNA fragment of the human BRAF-V600D (GAT) gene. The DNA insert covers the BRAF-V600D (GAT) mutant codon and 5′- and 3′-flanking regions. The BRAF V600D (GAT) plasmid is verified by Sanger sequencing and linearized.
BRAF V600D is present in 0.02% of AACR GENIE cases, with langerhans cell histiocytosis having the greatest prevalence. Thus, BRAF V600D is a predictive biomarker for use of dabrafenib, vemurafenib, binimetinib, cobimetinib, encorafenib, and trametinib in patients. Of the therapies, Melanoma has the most therapies targeted against BRAF V600D or its related pathways.
With Synthetic BRAF V600D DNA you are able to
Analyze the sensitivity of BRAF PCR assay
Gain certainty of the limit of BRAF detection
Optimize and validate new cancer panels
Routinely monitor the performance of your BRAF assay
